Operator

Position Title: Operator

Wage: $17.50 - $20.50/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am 2:00pm (May Vary Based on Overtime)

Operator Responsibilities:

- Follow production schedule and communicate scrap needs with the forklift driver and molding operator

- Identify and grind correct type of scrap to designated bins

- Sustain continuous material flow and meet production needs to acceptable production rate

- Operate grinder and in-feed conveyor

- Perform basic materials handling, operate control system and operate tools to cut wire casing off of scrap

- Remove bale wires and all visible foreign material from scrap

- Lift and position materials for production

- Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment

Requirements for Operator:

- Able to work overtime as production needs arise

- Able to use math and understand and calculate measurements, fractions and weight scales

- Able to read, write and understand English

- Able to work as a team

- Previous work history in manufacturing with longevity in past employment
