Position: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Prior supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
Weekend call rotation will be a part of the responsibilities.
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is instrumental in implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department to maintain standards of residents’ care.
Directs the activities of licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel who provide healthcare and nursing service to the residents.
This position develops and implements nursing services, objectives, and policies and procedures in accordance with Federal and State regulations as well as local standards and guidelines.
Designs, implements, and evaluates nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintains and promotes resident rights.
Conducts nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including the beginning and end of shift.
Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
Participates as a member of the facility’s interdisciplinary management team in planning, policy formation and administrative decision-making, with particular emphasis on the facility’s nursing services.

Education and/or Experience:
Active Pennsylvania RN license required.
Experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting, preferred.
Experience with applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid.
Ability to use desktop/notebook computers, Microsoft Office products, and various medical equipment required.
Prior experience with PCC (Point Click Care) a PLUS!
