M&S Consulting is seeking a Database Administrator to work in Huntsville, AL. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance.

The Database Administrator will design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases. The candidate will maintain database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. The successful candidate will administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. The Database Administrator will coordinate changes to computer databases. The ideal candidate may plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

Job Requirements:

Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility

At least eight (8+) years of Database Administration experience

Experience troubleshooting and resolving database and related issues

Knowledge and experience using reporting engines

Experience developing and maintaining documentation, including standards and best practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Robust decision-making skills

Bachelor’s degree in related field or in lieu of degree, 4 additional years of experience
