Job Description
We are looking for a committed Education Specialist to complement our qualified workforce of educators. You will be involved in the preparation and implementation of a full educational teaching plan according to the school's requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
Plan and execute educational in-class activities and events
Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars and conferences
Observe and understand student's behavior and psyche and make recommendations for the student
Access and record student's progress and provide feedback
Professional Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
California Special Education Credential for Mild/Moderate Support Needs (with Autism Certificate) or Moderate/Severe (Extensive Support Needs)
Intern, preliminary, or cleared Credential Required
Relevant teaching experience preferred
Training in applied behavior analysis and experience with functional, community-based curriculum
Compensation Information
Pay for this position is determined based on experience and education. The range is $68,640-$115,000 annually.
