Construction Foreman

We are looking for a Construction Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive managemnet of civil consruction projects.

This includes project planning, execution, supervsion, and ensuring full compliance with South African legislative, environmental, and safetly standards. The role demands a seasoned professional with technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and deep knowledge of construction regulations and methodoligies.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.

• Implement and enforce compliance with construction methods as per SANS 1200/GCC standards.

• Utilize project management software (e.g., MS Project) to plan, monitor, and report on project progress.

• Lead and mentor site staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships.

• Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed on-site.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Must be able to do earthworks, concrete foundations, concrete slabs and beams, formwork, rebar, brick work, plaster surface beds, structural steel, sheeting and be able to mantain relationships with sub contractors.

Be able to read a dumpy level

Must have built factories
