Administrative Assistant duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Reports to upper managementRequirements:
Job Duties:
Answering phone calls
Setting up current and new client appointments
Greeting clients
Assist upper management and other bookkeepers with various tasks and projects
Filing and Scanning client documents
Process client credit card payments
Bank deposits
Drafting professional correspondence
Data Entry
Running Errands
Ordering supplies
Print W2s and 1099s at year end
Printing tax returns
Ensuring the office is kept tidy and organized
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Other duties as assigned by upper management
Experience
Experience using Excel and Word
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Organizational skills and ability to multitask
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience
1-2 years Quickbooks Desktop experience
Must have an understanding of basic accounting concepts
