About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and client-focused paralegal to support our estate planning, probate, elder law and guardianship practice. In this role, you’ll help keep cases moving forward, support clients and their families, and collaborate with attorneys, referral partners, and outside vendors.
You’ll draft legal documents, manage case files, assist with billing, facilitate communication, and meet directly with clients. If you're looking for meaningful work within a small, close-knit team, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Draft estate planning, probate, and guardianship documents using document automation tools
Maintain organized and up-to-date case files
Track time and expenses using practice management and trust accounting software
Manage attorney calendars and ensure deadlines are met
Conduct legal research when needed
Communicate with clients and gather supporting documentation
Coordinate with outside vendors, referral sources, and court systems
Meet with clients in person to review and execute legal documents
Requirements
4+ years of experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal
Experience in estate planning, probate, guardianship, or litigation preferred
Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
Comfortable working with clients and families in sensitive situations
Familiarity with Florida court procedures and e-filing is a plus

Salary: $62,500 – $72,500 DOE
Quarterly bonus plan
