Job Description
Salary: $40k - $60k Annual
Paperless Environments has been revolutionizing document management and accounts payable workflow automation since 2005. Our innovative software solutions are used by over 2000 customers across all 50 states and in 5 other countries. Our software enables customers to efficiently manage their accounts payable processing through workflow automation, document management, and accounting system integration. Our products have wide ranging tech stacks that include desktop, SaaS, and mobile offerings.
What you will be doing:
Aid in testing efforts involving our software product development within a Scrum/Agile development process
Develop written test plans that provide maximum coverage of our applications
Develop automated integration and end to end tests based on these test plans
Be familiar with the use of testing tools and root cause analysis
Operate within a team in a fast-paced work environment where strong organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills are required
Stay current on established testing and QA tools, techniques, and technologies
Design testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications
Interact with the Product team to gain understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria.
Communicate with the support team and assist in defect reproduction for customer reported issues
Skills we are looking for:
Experience in Quality Assurance, software testing methodologies, and working with developers to resolve defects
Solid understanding of QA as part of the development process
Ability to clearly and concisely document software defects
Detail oriented and analytical thinking
Ability to interact professionally and positively with a development team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion for QA testing and willingness to suggest continual improvements
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Office 365, Word, Excel, and Outlook
What else would help you stand out:
Experience with DevOps, SQL Server Management Studio
Experience with TestComplete, Selenium, and/or UI.Vision
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Previous experience with document management, OCR, or automated workflow process software
