Partner with the Executive Chef to Inspire, Train, and Mentor the Culinary Team.
Position: Sous Chef

Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in planning and managing all aspects of food preparation in the restaurant.
Lead seasonal menu changes and development, ensuring product consistency and mentoring line staff.
Ensure all dishes are safe, visually appealing, and properly seasoned.
Establish and maintain quality standards for cooking methods, presentation techniques, portion control, and nutrient retention.
Support the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen budget.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for all employees.
Proactively identify and address any issues affecting departmental standards.
Interact with restaurant guests to gather feedback and ensure guest satisfaction.
Monitor daily sales and food costs, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the Finance and Accounting team.
Minimize waste and enforce controls to meet forecasted food and labor costs.
Provide culinary instruction and demonstrate advanced techniques to kitchen staff.
Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef within a trendy hospitality brand.
Experience working in a restaurant with over 5MM annual sales.
Strong industry references.
