Job Title: Systems Developer

Place of Performance: 44 Holland Ave., Albany, NY 12208 (Hybrid – up to 50% telecommute)

Minimum Experience: 7+ years in full software development life cycle (SDLC) with a focus on Microsoft and Oracle technologies

Rate: $48/hr - $68/hr

Employment Type: Contract on W2

Duration: 24 Months

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Systems Developer to provide technical leadership and application support for critical healthcare and forensic systems. This position is responsible for full SDLC development and maintenance activities, with a focus on building robust, secure, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong development skills in C#, .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, and web technologies, along with experience working in a HIPAA-regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute all phases of the software development life cycle

Develop and maintain n-tier applications using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API

Utilize HTML, XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap, and CSS for responsive front-end development

Create, modify, and manage Oracle database objects including tables, views, triggers, stored procedures, and packages

Design and troubleshoot reports using Crystal Reports in web applications

Use source control tools such as TFS, GIT, Tortoise SVN, and Visual SVN

Work within ITSM systems for incident and service request tracking

Participate in code reviews, debugging, deployment planning, and production support

Mentor junior developers and provide architectural guidance

Coordinate deployments and change management with IT operations

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy standards

Qualifications:

84+ months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio with C#, ASP.NET, Web API

84+ months of experience with front-end web development using HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS

84+ months of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL via SQL Developer

84+ months of experience analyzing business requirements and implementing application logic

60+ months of experience using TFS and/or GIT

36+ months of experience developing with JavaScript/jQuery

72+ months of experience working with HIPAA PHI healthcare data

36+ months of experience developing reports with Crystal Reports in Oracle-integrated web applications
