Position Overview:

We are seeking a detailed and organized Project Manager to join our growing team at Summit Point Roofing. This role is responsible for ensuring that all elements of the production process run smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. This position typically involves managing various aspects of pre-production, production, and post-production.

Core Responsibilities

Productivity & Impact

Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to develop comprehensive project plans.

Determine project scope, objectives, and requirements. Coordinate timelines, tasks, and resources to ensure smooth project execution.

Develop project budgets, monitor expenses, track costs. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards. Regularly report budget status to management.

Lead a diverse team of roofing professionals including contractors, subcontractors, onsite staff. Provide clear direction, set performance expectations, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to secure necessary materials and resources.

Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate terms to optimize project outcomes.

Generate project manuals.

Quality

Ensure all projects meet or exceed industry standards quality and regulatory standards. Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, address any issues promptly to maintain high standards of workmanship.

Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation within the team.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and share lessons learned from completed projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Documentation

Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, daily progress reports, and change orders.

Generate comprehensive reports highlighting project status, milestones, and potential roadblocks.

Verify job completion and schedule city and manufacturer inspections.

Keep commercial jobbook up to date.

Complete Notice of Award (NOA) and Notice of Completion (NOC) for manufacturer warranted projects.

Customer Service

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.

Build strong client relationships based on transparency and exceptional customer service.

Deliver project closeout documents to clients upon project completion.

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address challenges that may arise during the course of the project.

Assist with completion of submittal packages.

Safety

Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.

Promote a culture of safety awareness among project teams to prevent accidents and ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Develop site specific safety plans.

OSHA 30 certification.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to details.

Thrive at time management with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.

Experience in a production role, preferably in a service-based or construction industry.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and experience with CRM software.

Previous experience adhering to OSHA regulations is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel to job sites, meetings, or events.

Ability to get up a ladder and on top of a roof.
