At SUN Printing, we bring stories to life through smart design, print precision, and brand-forward creativity. As we expand our creative capabilities, we’re looking for a Graphic Designer who can thrive at the intersection of speed, quality, and innovation.
This role is designed for a production-savvy designer who knows how to take base artwork and elevate it—ensuring print accuracy, visual impact, and brand consistency across touchpoints. The majority of the work will center around designing for a diverse range of clients, each with their own unique projects (70-80%), we’re also looking for someone who can lean into strategic creative work (20–30%)—from brand development to storyboarding and campaign ideation.
What You’ll Do
Primary Responsibilities (Daily Work):
Prepare and adapt customer-supplied files for print, ensuring color, layout, and resolution meet production standards
Modify base creative to align with brand consistency and desired output across various print and digital formats
Collaborate with the sales and prepress teams to clarify specs, troubleshoot issues, and hit critical timelines
Balance multiple projects at once, maintaining both pace and precision
Creative & Conceptual Support (Strategic Work):
Contribute to the development of brand and campaign concepts for internal and external projects
Support storyboarding, visual strategy, and pitch presentations for key clients and initiatives
Collaborate in brainstorms to push creative thinking, elevate brand experiences, and deliver meaningful workRequirements:
What You Bring
3+ years of graphic design experience in a fast-paced print or production environment
A strong portfolio that demonstrates both technical execution and creative thinking
Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); bonus points for familiarity with motion graphics or basic video editing
Deep knowledge of design fundamentals: typography, color theory, layout, and production workflows
Comfort working with cross-functional teams—sales, prepress, customer service—to get the job done
Self-starter attitude with the ability to juggle shifting deadlines and multiple requests
Customer-first mindset: You know how to translate a need into a visual solution that works
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in print production or prepress environments
Exposure to brand development or marketing/advertising agency environments
What to Expect
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, between 7:30am and 5:00pm (40 hours/week) with a 1-hour lunch break
Business casual workplace—jeans are fine, just keep it clean and professional
