Parts Manager ( Heavy Equipment Industry )

Aiken, SC

Annual Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 ( based on experience, plus additional incentives )

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing and supervising all parts processing for the parts department

Obtain and prepare parts quotes

Order and manage parts inventory for equipment fleet

Manage parts ordering from manufacturers and communicating with vendors for special purchases

Expedite back orders

Ensure that customer invoices are confirmed daily in parts system

Schedule opening and closing hours for employees

Coordinate daily with sales and service departments

Develop annual objectives for the parts department

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Minimum of two (2) years of parts operations and inventory management experience

Previous experience in the construction or heavy equipment industry is preferred

Experience with P & L, budgeting and forecasting preferred

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Possess exceptional customer service skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Exceptional leadership and management skills

Must be able to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate

Must be able to communicate, both written and verbal, to employees at multiple levels within the organization

Minimal travel required
