CAMS, Community Association Management Services- a local HOA management company is looking for a full-time 40 hour per week Maintenance Technician Assistant who is an energetic self-starter who works well under minimal supervision for work on-site in Myrtle Beach, SC at a garden-style condominium complex-HOA community.

General Description

Perform general maintenance/projects as assigned by the head technician and assist in the oversight of contractors/vendors in the community. Also includes cleaning of the garden style buildings.

Hours of work are full-time Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week with weekends required.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned work orders in a timely manner

Control inventory and management of supplies needed in the community for upkeep

Perform preventative maintenance tasks to maintain the physical integrity of the property, amenities, and grounds

Ensure a safe and secure living environment for residents and visitors

Anticipate, identify, and correct problems involving the property

Assist in the oversight of contractors and vendors

Must be able to generate and perform checklists for ongoing maintenance necessities

Follow up on service requests and communicate with managers for the highest quality customer serviceRequirements:

Must possess your own set of tools, basic tool-bag

The position requires at least 2 years of experience in property maintenance or equivalent field

Valid driver’s license

Attendance and punctuality are essential

Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

Must be available to perform after-hours emergency calls when needed

Must be able to respond to emergencies promptly when on-call

Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record

Must have comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems

Must have general construction knowledge including but not limited to light sheetrock repairs and painting

Must have general knowledge of swimming pool operation

Must be knowledgeable and skilled with the use of various hand and power tools, lift heavy objects, and climb ladders of varying heights

Carpentry skills helpful

Must have basic computer skills to input and complete work orders

Benefits and Pay

The pay for this role is $19.00 - $21.00 hourly based on experience with opportunities for advancement.
