Job Title: Locum Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgery

Join a reputable facility in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeking a dedicated Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon for sporadic coverage. This role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse practice environment, encompassing office, outpatient, and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will provide care for adult patients, with an expected case load of 2-3 cases per day. The facility is equipped with three operating rooms designated for cardiovascular thoracic surgery. Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality surgical care in a trauma level 3 facility.

Participate in 24-hour on-call shifts, ensuring patient coverage.

Utilize the Cupid documentation system for patient records.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate and treat patients.

Attend to adult patients, primarily aged 25 and above, in varying clinical settings.

Maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures. Qualifications:

Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery (ABTS/ABMS) - REQUIRED

Completed Fellowship Training - REQUIRED

Current BLS & ACLS certification - REQUIRED

Active Florida State License - REQUIRED

Local provider - Highly Preferred

Willingness to adhere to a conversion rate cap of 25k - REQUIRED License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery

Valid BLS & ACLS certification

Current Florida State License
