A leading global manufacturer in the welding and metal fabrication space is seeking a Designer/Drafter to join their Plant Engineering team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting capital projects and ongoing operations by delivering high-quality 3D models, 2D drafting, and facility layout drawings.

? Key Responsibilities:

Create/modify 3D models, detailed manufacturing drafts & layout drawings

Reverse engineer from legacy drawings or physical components

Support internal/external fabrication (.DXF, .PDF, .STP files)

Maintain CAD standards & documentation

Collaborate with Plant Engineers & cross-functional teams

Document existing equipment and assist in template development

? What We're Looking For:

3+ years of professional drafting/design experience

Proficiency in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX

Familiarity with AutoCAD and data management systems (e.g., Autodesk Vault, Siemens TeamCenter)

Hands-on experience with measurement tools (micrometers, calipers)

Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing environments

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Ability to work independently & onsite in production environments
