Civil Project Engineer / Civil Engineer in Training (EIT)

Are you a driven Civil Engineer or EIT looking to grow your career with a dynamic and supportive team? I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected engineering consultancy that's expanding its civil engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects while being mentored by experienced Professional Engineers and Project Managers.

? What You'll Be Doing

As a Civil Project Engineer or EIT, you'll play a key role in supporting civil design projects from concept through to construction. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with drainage and grading design calculations

Designing and coordinating utilities and site grading using CAD tools and city standards

Updating and modifying CAD drawings based on feedback

Ensuring construction plans meet internal standards and local regulations

Conducting research to ensure compliance with local design requirements

Participating in site visits to support quality assurance and troubleshooting

? What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)

EIT certification (preferred)

Experience or strong interest in land development and civil design

Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred, but not required)

A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow

? Work Environment

Office-based role with occasional site visits

Must be comfortable working at a desk for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when needed
