Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven and passionate Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have strong academic performance, a genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

This is an entry-level position designed to support your transition from student to practicing PA. You will work closely with experienced cardiologist with 4 fellowships in different disciplines in Cardiology and benefit from mentorship, structured training, and hands-on experience in an inpatient cardiology setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans under supervision

Order and interpret EKG, Ultrasound, and other diagnostic tests relevant to cardiovascular conditions

Provide patient education regarding heart health, medications, and lifestyle modifications

Assist in procedures such as stress testing, echocardiograms, and other cardiology-related diagnostics

Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR system

Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives

Be a Team Player ! Assist where needed!

Qualifications:

Graduated from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program

Successfully passed the PANCE or PANRE exam (NCCPA certified)

Strong academic performance and board scores

Demonstrated interest in cardiology or internal medicine through rotations, coursework, or extracurriculars

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment

Valid California PA license or eligible for immediate licensure

DEA certification or ability to obtain one preferred

Strong English both written and oral.

Strong computer use and typing skills
