Our venue serves as a lively destination for both locals and visitors, offering curated whiskey tastings, craft cocktails, special events, and premium service in a beautifully designed Alpine lodge setting.
Position Overview:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a crucial role in the daily operation of the venue. Working closely with the General Manager, the AGM helps lead the team, maintain exceptional service standards, support special events, and ensure a seamless guest experience. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment, and who is passionate about spirits and beverage programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in developing and motivating a high-performing team
Lead private events and manage all stages from inquiry to execution
Build local partnerships to drive brand visibility and guest traffic
Assist in planning and hosting public events like tastings, classes, and workshops
Oversee retail operations including inventory and visual merchandising
Handle payroll, scheduling, and daily administrative duties
Engage with guests to ensure exceptional service and hospitality
Maintain and enforce service and brand standards across all departments
Resolve guest concerns or operational issues promptly and professionally
Participate in recruiting, training, and ongoing staff development
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health codes, and company policies
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in restaurant, bar, or hospitality operations
Deep passion for hospitality, food, and beverage service
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Event management or coordination experience (preferred)
Strong multitasking abilities and composure under pressure
Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest service protocols, and health regulations
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs as needed
