Engineering Manager

Position Title: Engineering Manager

Wage: Based on Experience

Engineering Manager Responsibilities:

- Plan and direct engineering requirements related to the development of custom products

- Identify and escalate issues / risks and develop solutions with cross-functional teams

- Monitor KPIs including quality, deliverables, capacity and utilization

- Create and lead teams through complex projects and control standards

- Lead engineering development initiatives and perform reviews

- Establish best practices and project scopes to meet performance goals

Requirements for Engineering Manager:

- Bachelorâ s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

- 7-10 years of design / manufacturing engineering experience

- 5 years of engineering management experience in manufacturing

- Strong background in metals, elastomers, plastics or machine components / design

- Proficiency in organizing technical projects and managing technical personnel

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency with 3D CAD (Autodesk a plus), ERP systems and Microsoft Office

- Familiarity with regulatory standards for Medical, Aerospace, Defense, and Transportation industries preferred
