Your Role
Design, implement, and commission cutting-edge automation systems for food production, specializing in Allen Bradley technologies.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to ensure systems comply with safety and quality regulations.
Drive improvements in process automation across key food production areas such as batching, mixing, packaging, and quality assurance.
Manage automation projects from inception to fruition, adhering to deadlines, budgets, and client specifications.
Provide advanced expertise in systems integration, diagnostic troubleshooting, and process optimization.
Develop and review critical project documentation — from system specs to testing protocols.
Handle on-site system integration, ensuring alignment with operational mandates and regulatory demands.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet quality and customer satisfaction goals.
Lead and provide mentorship to junior engineers, offering technical guidance and support.
Spearhead technical troubleshooting and maintain communication as the lead technical contact.
Validate and rigorously test systems to meet safety and performance benchmarks.
Evaluate and implement strategies for continuous system enhancements.
Engage in site visits for project delivery, maintenance, and optimization. Role Specific Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or similar fields.
Over 7 years of experience in automation within food manufacturing operations.
Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC systems and other platforms such as Siemens and Beckhoff.
Knowledgeable in Ethernet/IP, SCADA, and DCS systems, ideally PlantPAX and IIOT.
Skilled with MS Project, AutoCAD, and additional relevant software.
Deep understanding of electrical engineering and industrial control standards.
Strong leadership skills and experience in team mentorship.
Flexibility in travel requirements, including domestic and global assignments.
