Job Title: Expert Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Job Summary:
Huntington National Bank's Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) is seeking a Expert Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to help with development efforts across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and integrated Salesforce platforms. This role requires a strong technical foundation in Marketing Cloud (including AMPScript, SSJS, and automation), leadership in agile teams, and experience with DevOps and cross-cloud integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of scalable solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Cloud Pages.
Develop and maintain custom solutions using AMPScript, SSJS, and SQL within Marketing Cloud.
Collaborate with Product Owners, BSAs, and other Tech Leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Guide and mentor junior developers and offshore teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Conduct peer code reviews, oversee deployment processes, and contribute to DevOps pipeline improvements.
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Support integration efforts between Marketing Cloud and other Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Financial Services Cloud).
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new tools, features, and third-party integrations.
Contribute to the evolution of the COE’s development patterns, documentation, and reusable components.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
4+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Proficiency in AMPScript, SSJS, SQL, and Marketing Cloud APIs.
Experience working in agile scrum teams and leading development efforts.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools like Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins.
Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Marketing Cloud Developer
Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
Platform Developer I/II
Sales/Service Cloud Consultant
Experience with Salesforce Data Extensions, Contact Builder, and Journey Builder personalization.
Knowledge of Salesforce managed packages and third-party marketing integrations.
Experience working with offshore teams and leading peer reviews.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
