Overview

Element has an opportunity for a NDT - Ultrasonic Inspector/ Trainee, Level I and Level II (2nd Shift) to

perform Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products,

manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following

specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results. This role will be 1st shift Mon-Friday at the start and will in the near future be a Sun - Wed (10 hour shifts) or Wed-Sat (10 hour shifts) in the coming months.

Salary: $25.50- $34/hr DOE Responsibilities

Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications

Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and procedures

Once certified and trained must be willing to work multiple inspection cells at the same time. Skills / Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required

Level 1 or 2 in UT inspection a large plus

Ability to read and interpret information, write legibly, take accurate measurements from a tape measure, present numerical data effectively, and edit work for correct spelling and grammar

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Sufficient vision, either natural or corrected, with ability to pass annual vision exams

Willing to work overtime when needed
