Responsibilities
Create PLC programs using ladder editor, function block diagrams, flow charts, etc. for web converting equipment and associated functions
Design and develop HMI applications
Design and review PLC network architecture
AC/DC drives configuration
Integration of Legacy drives, controls and equipment
Support the creation of technical product documentation and information
In-house testing of software and systems
Provide on-site assistance during system start-up and commissioning
Remote and on-site customer support
Assist Sales with pre-study analysis and reports
Interact with customers as required
Work closely with team members to complete projects and assignments Position Requirements
BSEE or MSEE with Controls background preferred
Minimum 2 year controls/electrical engineer degree required
Knowledge of AC/DC drive systems, PCs, Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC
Previous experience with PLCs, AC and DC Drive systems and Supervisory control systems
Strong understanding of industrial controls networks
Web handling and converting equipment experience is preferred, but not a requirement
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others and manage a customer
Strong technical aptitude and good analytical skills; organized and detail oriented
Self-starter, willing to work-through and seek answers to ongoing new requirements
Strong self-discipline
Experience with the following computer related skills: Office 365, Word, Excel
Industrial programming software such as: Ladder Logic, Control Block Diagramming, HMI configuration software
