Pay Range: $50,000-$60,000 Annually; Hourly wage will vary based on relevant experience and education.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in the Chemistry or relevant field or a minimum of 2 years of quality or regulatory compliance experience in the chemical manufacturing industry.
Familiarity with applicable environmental regulations and requirements (EPA).

The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator will support our Quality, Safety, and Environmental compliance efforts. This role involves conducting routine on-site facility inspections to ensure compliance with local, regional, state, and federal regulations, including EPA, FDA, DOT, and DEA requirements. Additionally, the role will be integral in collecting, analyzing, reporting, and archiving critical process data. Each day presents unique challenges as we focus on improving efficiency, reducing downtime, and expanding our operations. The successful candidate will be motivated to learn and takes initiative to help us continuously improve.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, including material inventory, safety walks, and compliance audits. Lead internal safety and quality audits in conformance with ISO9001, ISO17025, and ISO17034.
Support divisional goals with routine recordkeeping, monitoring, auditing, and training activities.
Promote and support efforts to foster a culture of enhanced safety, environmental sustainability, and quality.
Organize and maintain regulatory and environmental compliance records.
Serve as a reliable point of contact for regulatory compliance related to the chemical manufacturing industry.
Coordinate facility waste management program in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Review and consult on new and changing local/state/federal regulations applicable to GFS Chemicals operations.
Assist management with the development, enhancement, and standardization of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance programs.
Most importantly help to create a positive, productive, and safe work environment.
