Job Description

This position involves general labor work on the Saint Mary's Hospital project located in Grand Junction. The role requires a willingness to take direction and collaborate effectively. While lead experience and blueprint reading skills are advantageous, they are not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor tasks related to construction and cleaning.

Engage in framing and rough carpentry activities.

Construct temporary rails and framing around containment areas.

Conduct sweeping and cleaning to maintain safety standards.

Utilize hand and power tools effectively in various tasks.

Operate forklifts and engage in demolition activities.

Install doors, metal studs, and perform cabinetry and trim work.

Read and interpret blueprints when necessary.

Essential Skills

Experience in general labor, construction, and rough carpentry.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Ability to perform finish carpentry tasks.

Skill in door installation and metal stud work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in demolition and clean-up operations.

Competency in install finish trim work.

Ideally, 2 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

The typical working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional extended hours until 8:00 PM. The job primarily involves daytime work, although some projects may require night shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
