Job Overview:

The Overnight Team Leader will oversee store operations during the night shift in the absence of higher-level management. You will ensure productivity and quality standards are met while actively engaging and motivating associates.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly and courteously addressing customer inquiries.

Facilitate smooth operations between associates and customers to ensure effective food service and beverage delivery.

Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality, and operational standards at all times.

Provide direction and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Maintain stock levels of food service items by day part and suggest improvements to the management team.

Acknowledge and celebrate associate achievements to boost morale and performance.

Manage cash handling procedures and perform register functionalities as required.

This role includes checking in vendors per corporate guidelines.

Ensure store condition meets established cleanliness and safety standards.

Essential Functions:

Able to work individually and collaboratively in a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Outstanding customer service abilities.

Self-motivated with minimal supervision.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

Capabilities in conflict resolution through de-escalation techniques.

Proven decision-making abilities and leadership skills.

Must perform physical tasks, including standing, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and using store technology consistently throughout the shift.

Reliable transportation is a must.

Must be at least 18 years old for consideration.

Ability to delegate and prioritize effectively.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

Availability to work 35 - 40 hours per week.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred experience in leadership, team development, and food service operations.

Background in management of expenses, training, and foodservice menu planning desirable.

Experience in implementing changes and achieving positive results.

Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or service environment preferred.

Demonstrated skills in customer service, relationship building, and effective communication.
