Job Title: Janitor
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Location: Norfolk, VA 23502
Position Summary
We are looking for dedicated and reliable Janitorial staff to maintain cleanliness and safety at the Norfolk Premium Outlets . The ideal candidate will be comfortable with manual labor, have a strong work ethic, and take pride in maintaining a clean environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, window and wall cleaning.
Routinely check and clean restrooms, restock supplies as needed.
Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness in common areas and walkways.
Clean and sanitize washrooms thoroughly during assigned shifts.
Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and hazardous materials disposal.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
Perform other cleaning and custodial tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety procedures.
Ability to lift, stand, bend, and move throughout shifts.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Typical Work Schedule
Schedules are subject to change based on operational needs.
M,T -2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
F, Sat - 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Sun - 11:00am to 8:30pm
Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
