Summary:

Develops and administers programs to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with regulations and administrative guidelines; maintains the buildings in livable and workable conditions relative to heat, light, power, air conditioning and other broad environmental factors; directs the repair, reconstruction and construction of the hospital's physical plant and its contents; administers a preventative maintenance program to facilitate uninterrupted service to patients and to assure safe conditions of employment for staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-5 years relevant experience and, preferably a BS (or equivalent degree) in related discipline. -Supervisory experience and knowledge of relevant NFPA Codes OSHA requirements, and the Life Safety and Environment of Care expectations and requirements of The Joint Commission are preferred.
