Salary: $2400 / Week
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Admissions responsible for the coordination and planning for pre-admission activities. The Clinical Admissions Coordinator identifies and collects information, with the assistance of other departments and hospitals, to finalize the admissions process.
Minimum Requirements:
Licensed healthcare professional (current and valid license in state of assignment)
One (1) year healthcare experience highly preferred
Clinical experience in hospital setting preferred
Ability to apply clinical guidelines to pre-admission records
Ability to perform clinical assessments to evaluate patient care needs
Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff
Experience in Case Management, Utilization Management or Discharge Planning preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age
3P-11P RN for our Admissions Department
For Admissions, we are looking for someone with a background in psych as there day to day responsibilities will be to conduct assessments over the phone of individuals seeking to be admitted in. They as well will meet with the patients upon admission to review medications, diagnoses, etc
