The Manager (Administrator is the official NJM Title) of Business Planning and Analysis (BP&A) will serve as a lead member of the BP&A Section reporting directly to the Department Head. This role will support the growth of the business and will deliver impactful analysis to drive business decisions and strategy. This position will also play a key role in partnering with the business to inform strategy and keep management attuned with projected and actual performance and will analyze trends and initiatives.
Based on experience this position has the flexibility to be filled at the Supervisor Level.
This role has the ability to work from home 1 day per week.

Lead a team of two to four professionals
Provide value added analysis and financial insight to business priorities
Help create and model budgets and forecasts
Review historical financial data to understand business trends
Oversee the tracking of performance relative to budgets and forecasts
Develop and lead cost benefit analyses for various investments and initiatives
Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency and maximize return on investment
Challenge existing processes and identify viable alternates
Drive financial discipline and financial visibility across the enterprise
Assist operating teams in understanding financial statements and budget adherence
Provide business leaders with real-time financial analysis of business initiatives and deviations from projected performance
Assist business leaders with financial analysis of proposed initiatives and projecting outcomes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, mathematics, economics or related degree; Master’s Degree, CPCU or CPA a plus
10 + years of progressive financial experience
3 + years of supervisory responsibilities
Previous experience in the property and casualty insurance industry required
Proficiency in leading financial analysis and model building
Ability to work in a collaborative manner driving decision support across all facets of the business
Strategic mindset with ability to deliver results while engaging others through effective relationships
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment
Strong influencing skills and change management capabilities
The salary range for this role is $ 136,700 – $158,600. Compensation is commensurate with experience an credentials.
