Job Description

Opening Date: 8/14/2025

Training Locations: Noblesville, Daleville, or Keystone at the Crossing Indianapolis

Shift Differential: Associates in this position will receive a $2.00 shift differential for hours worked between 12am-6am.

Job Summary: As a Shift Leader, you will oversee store operations in the absence of a senior manager. You will ensure efficient productivity, uphold quality standards, and provide recommendations to improve store operations. You may also assist with managing fuel offer operations when required.

Principal Duties:

Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries promptly and seeking customer feedback.

Facilitate seamless order processing between associates and customers, ensuring food service and beverage quality.

Implement and enforce safety, security, and store operation policies and standards.

Provide guidance and motivation to associates during your shift.

Maintain stock levels for food service items based on timing and demand.

Communicate growth opportunities in food service and beverage to the Food and Beverage Manager.

Recognize and celebrate associate achievements regularly.

Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and perform managerial functions at the register.

Administer check-ins for internal and external vendors per corporate guidelines.

Maintain a thorough understanding of store equipment and ensure facilities are up to established standards.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Capability to resolve issues through effective de-escalation and problem-solving techniques.

Excellent relationship building and leadership qualities.

Physical requirements: standing, walking, lifting, and performing various tasks for extended periods.

Reliable transportation is required.

Minimum age of 18 years is necessary for this role.

Ability to direct others and prioritize tasks effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Availability 35-40 hours per week.

Flexible shift availability, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred experience in leading and developing teams.

Experience in training, sales strategies, expense management, and food service planning.

Demonstrated capability in effective change implementation.

Leadership experience in a dynamic retail, food service, or fuel environment is preferred.

Familiarity with all aspects of store operations, especially food service.

Skills in customer service, relationship building, and communication are essential.
