Job Description
Medical Coder
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Coder for our healthcare client located in Phoenix. This position will be 100% onsite, full-time, and a contract-to-hire opportunity for our client.
This coding position will be focused on EMS specialty and interested candidates will need to have knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and Medicare/Medicaid rules and regulations. This position will also have productivity expectations that will need to be met on a regular cadence.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Medical Coding Certification (CPC/CCS/etc.)
EMS Coding certificate strongly desired
Minimum 2 years EMS coding experience Skills
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work well independently and meet production metrics as outlined by management
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid insurances, HCPCS, and ICD-10
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Can multitask and prioritize throughout the day
Pay Details: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
