Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a small service-focused organization in Southern Indiana. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting operations while contributing to financial planning and analysis. This position offers an opportunity to play a key role in the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end closing process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

• Prepare detailed financial statements and conduct in-depth financial analysis.

• Develop forecasts and budgets to support strategic decision-making.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate records.

• Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounting operations and generate financial reports.

• Perform light human resources duties, including payroll oversight and employee records management.

• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and outcomes.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

• Proficiency in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.

• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes and account reconciliations.

• Strong ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.

• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
