Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA(Hybrid). Candidates must have strong experience building front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript visualization libraries to be considered.

Rate Range: $84/hour to $88/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineer job responsibilities include:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive user interfaces and data visualizations for complex machine learning insights.

Guide best practices in information architecture and visual presentation of data products.

Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and inform product decisions.

Contribute to API integration and backend interactions using web frameworks and backend languages like Python.

Ensure code quality through testing frameworks and maintain development workflows using tools like Git and documentation standards.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in front-end development and data-driven application design.

Proven expertise in building front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript visualization libraries like D3 or Vega.

Familiarity with backend development using Python and experience integrating APIs using frameworks such as Express.

Pay Details: $84.00 to $88.00 per hour
