Sr. Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Consultant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will focus on enhancing operational efficiency through process improvement and re-engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of expertise in financial analysis, system optimization, and documentation management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring all journal entries and account reconciliations are accurate and fully auditable.

• Lead efforts to redesign and optimize processes for improved operational efficiency and consistency.

• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support harmonized workflows.

• Identify and address process gaps through detailed analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes and eliminate inconsistencies.

• Utilize CRM and ERP solutions to support process improvement initiatives.

• Conduct audits and provide actionable recommendations to enhance compliance and performance.

• Drive continuous improvement efforts by analyzing current systems and proposing innovative solutions.

• Manage ad hoc projects as needed to support organizational goals and priorities.

• Deliver high-quality customer service while ensuring all documentation is thorough and accurate.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in process improvement, financial analysis, and operational optimization.

• Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems, with a proven ability to leverage these tools for process enhancements.

• Strong expertise in gap analysis and developing strategies to address inefficiencies.

• Familiarity with auditing practices and compliance standards.

• Excellent ability to document SOPs and manage detailed records.

• Demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and departments.
