Job Description
DCS Corp is seeking an experienced Microsoft Windows Server Administrator to support one of our Prime contracts with the US Air Force.
Essential Job Functions:
In this role, you will be the lead administrator for the enterprise’s Windows Server and Windows desktop client environments.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a Top Secret with SCI clearance.
High School Diploma with at least 16 years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience. (There are multiple levels associated with this opportunity category. Candidates with advanced degrees or varied levels of experience may be considered for alternative classification.)
Current Security+, or CISM/CISSP certification; with additional Windows certifications.
Experience building, securing, and maintaining the security posture of current Windows-based desktops and servers to DOD requirements (including implementing and maintaining DISA STIG compliance), administrating/managing Windows Server services such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience using Nessus (ACAS) vulnerability scanner to assess and then remediate the IA posture of the computing environment.
Experience with enterprise virtualization using VMWare for deployment and administration.
Experience diagnosing and remediating Windows desktop/server and end user issues.
Experience with general Windows backup and recovery principles in a corporate environment. Knowledge of Veeam or experience with this windows backup solution is desirable.
Knowledge of Linux is highly desirable.
Ability to provide support at an enterprise scale with a user base with 1000's of users.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
