We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Industrial Controls Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role is an excellent opportunity to work with a premier engineering company that values innovation, creativity, and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing industrial control systems, ensuring compliance with UL698A standards. This position offers a unique blend of hands-on work and strategic planning, providing the perfect platform for the right individual to showcase their expertise and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop industrial control systems in line with our company's specifications and client requirements.

2. Ensure all designs comply with UL698A standards and other relevant industry regulations.

3. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for complex control systems.

4. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to identify and rectify any issues within the control systems.

5. Prepare detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials.

6. Provide technical support and guidance to the production team during system assembly and wiring.

7. Conduct regular reviews and updates of control system designs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

8. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designs, modifications, and tests.

9. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in industrial control systems design.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in designing industrial control systems.

3. In-depth knowledge of UL698A and other relevant industry standards.

4. Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or EPLAN.

5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

7. Strong project management abilities, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

8. Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI development would be advantageous.

9. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

10. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
