Technology attorney needed for a permanent full-time inhouse counsel role in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). This role offers the opportunity to shape company practices in commercial law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance within the dynamic fintech and SaaS industry. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in negotiating complex agreements and advising cross-functional teams.

• Negotiate and draft customer and vendor contracts, ensuring terms align with corporate objectives.

• Provide strategic guidance to business teams on contract interpretation, risk management, and legal compliance.

• Develop and maintain contract templates to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

• Manage and mentor a contract manager, fostering growth and operational excellence.

• Create detailed playbooks to define risk profiles for commercial and vendor agreements.

• Train sales teams on legal principles and negotiation tactics to establish achievable customer expectations.

• Collaborate with departments such as information security, finance, and compliance to finalize contractual terms.

• Offer legal counsel on regulatory compliance matters specific to fintech, employment law, and corporate governance.

• Negotiate enterprise-level agreements, including Data Protection Addendums and services contracts.

• Support partner engagements by advising on industry-specific legal and regulatory challenges.• Minimum of 7 years of experience in legal roles, with a focus on fintech, SaaS, or related industries.

• Expertise in payments and banking industries, including familiarity with associated laws and regulations.

• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and enterprise-level agreements.

• Strong understanding of corporate law, governance, and regulatory compliance.

• Experience with Data Protection Addendums and services agreements requiring attention to detail.

• Adept at providing sound legal advice and risk assessments to cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated ability to train and support non-legal teams on contractual and negotiation strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
