We are offering a Direct Hire/Permanent role as a Production Planner/Scheduler in Terrell, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless production planning, scheduling, and operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with multiple departments to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule production activities, including customer orders, internal tasks, rework processes, and maintenance operations.

• Collaborate with department managers to align production schedules with organizational objectives while minimizing overtime.

• Work closely with customer service teams to provide timely updates on order status, including handling requests for changes, cancellations, or expedited processes.

• Partner with department heads to assess and define resource requirements, such as additional personnel or equipment.

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, product quality, and organizational processes.

• Conduct internal audits and contribute to ensuring compliance with company standards.

• Prepare and submit detailed performance and status reports as required by management.• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as ERP systems.

• Advanced knowledge of planning and scheduling principles.

• Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.

• Strong leadership abilities, with excellent communication skills for engaging with customers, team members, and stakeholders.

• A positive attitude with a self-motivated and detail-oriented approach to work.

• Physically able to access different areas of the manufacturing facility to monitor progress and ensure operational efficiency.
