Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing essential support to the sales process by managing customer transactions, streamlining operations, and fostering strong client relationships. This role works closely with an external salesperson, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities:

Partner with one designated outside sales representative to assist with transaction processing and client support, ensuring smooth sales cycles.

Handle the entry and processing of sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness throughout the order cycle.

Provide customers with detailed and accurate price quotes for products and services.

Generate essential documentation, including sales orders, purchase orders, and shipping documents, in compliance with company standards.

Collaborate with the outside sales representative to process transactions efficiently and meet customer expectations.

Establish strong, ongoing relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support.

Oversee the management of open customer orders, maintaining clear communication on timelines and project status.

Assist in resolving customer complaints with a detail-oriented and problem-solving approach.

Leverage inventory knowledge to help in stock management and ensure accurate order fulfillment.

Utilize SAP Business One to manage and organize sales tasks effectively while maintaining accurate data and records.

A minimum of 2-3 years in a sales support, inside sales, or similar customer-focused role.

Prior experience with SAP Business One, or other ERP/CRM tools, is required.

Strong ability to build relationships, handle client concerns, and prioritize customer satisfaction.

Proven ability to accurately process orders, manage complex documentation, and track multiple open orders effectively.

Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with customers, teammates, and external sales representatives.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain an efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills to resolve customer complaints and help identify process improvements.

Familiarity with quoting, shipping documentation, inventory management, and project coordination.
