Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, and involves managing logistics operations, data entry, and customer communication. Candidates with a background in manufacturing, logistics, or customer service will thrive in this dynamic position.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer orders by entering data into the system and ensuring accuracy in delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with customers, warehouses, and logistics providers to manage shipping and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and shipments using internal systems and tools.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to orders and deliveries.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
• Learn and adapt quickly to internal systems and processes to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Monitor and manage a manageable volume of orders, typically 1-2 orders per day, ensuring timely processing.
• Support administrative tasks related to logistics and shipping documentation.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination across departments.• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and processes is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience with order entry systems or CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage data entry and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp new systems and processes efficiently.
