About the Role:

As the Controller, you will oversee the financial health of the organization, ensuring precise accounting, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory compliance. You’ll partner with senior leaders to shape financial strategy while mentoring a high-performing accounting team. The ideal candidate will combine in-depth financial expertise with a passion for process improvement, team development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Accounting and Financial Oversight:

Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.

Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Prepare and present consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.

Design and maintain a strong internal control framework to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with external auditors to manage annual audits and resolve any discrepancies.

Process Improvement and Scalability:

Evaluate current accounting and reporting processes to identify inefficiencies.

Lead initiatives to automate financial workflows and implement scalable systems that support long-term growth.

Collaborate with IT teams to modernize financial systems and adopt best practices for financial processes.

Leadership and Team Development:

Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence.

Promote collaboration between the finance team and other departments to ensure alignment on organizational goals.

Provide leadership in developing and monitoring departmental KPIs and team performance metrics.

Strategic Support and Cross-Functional Partnership:

Collaborate with senior executives on financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.

Serve as a key advisor to the leadership team regarding financial risks, operational insights, and opportunities for growth.

Partner with HR, operations, and sales teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with corporate objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial management, or related roles.

• Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, consolidation, and analysis.

• Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting processes and audit practices.

• Strong proficiency in accounting functions and financial reporting.

• Ability to implement and manage automation tools to streamline workflows.

• Excellent leadership and team development skills.
