Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Banning, California. This short-term position spans approximately two weeks and involves analyzing data collected from a recent survey. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and extract key insights from survey data stored in Excel using advanced formulas and techniques.
• Create and utilize pivot tables to organize and summarize data for effective reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data analysis aligns with project goals and expectations.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the data analysis process.
• Apply data mining techniques to identify and retrieve specific information as required by the project.
• Develop and manipulate Excel formulas to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports.• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formula creation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex datasets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Experience with data mining and survey analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and database platforms is a plus.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
