Job Description
The Technical Manager is responsible for managing the product support team of one of the world’s
leading manufacturers of industrial products. Responsibilities include, reviewing the department’s
quality of work and helping to ensure that customers’ and Sales Representatives receive the support
needed for product application.
1) Other Duties
a. Manage the product specialist department.
b. Sample Approval
c. Maintain knowledge of competitors and their activities.
d. Maintain product technical information and cross-reference to company’s products.
e. Sales Support.
f. Handle quality related complaints.
g. Maintain knowledge of marketing trends.
h. Conduct technical training with Sales Reps and customers.
Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties of the
job classification.
