Job Description
Experienced and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Operator with over 2+years of hands-on experience in fast-paced warehouse and distribution environments. Skilled in operating various types of forklifts including sit-down, stand-up, Hi-reach, and pallet jacks to efficiently move, load, unload, and organize materials. Proven track record of maintaining high productivity while adhering to OSHA safety standards and company protocols. Strong understanding of inventory systems, shipping and receiving procedures, and warehouse organization. Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
Warehouse Organization and Inventory Systems
Cycle Counting & Audits – Regular inventory checks to maintain accuracy without shutting down operations.
Stock Replenishment – Identifying low-stock items and moving inventory to active picking areas.
RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners – Used to scan barcodes for receiving, picking, and cycle counts to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) – Software like SAP or Oracle, used to track inventory movement, locations, and quantities.
Slotting Optimization – Placing fast-moving products in easily accessible areas to increase picking speed.
Cleanliness & Safety – Maintaining sanitation standards, especially in food-grade environments, and keeping aisles clear for forklift operation.
Racking Systems – High-reach forklifts often work with pallet racking systems to maximize vertical space.
Shipping and Receiving Procedures
Inspecting incoming shipments for damage, quantity, and accuracy.
Scanning and logging inventory into the WMS using RF guns.
Labeling and storing items in designated zones.
Communicating discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors.
Picking, staging, and scanning items for shipment.
Verifying shipping documents (BOL, packing slips, invoices).
Loading pallets safely and efficiently onto trucks.
Coordinating with logistics personnel or third-party carriers.Company Description
