Job Description
The Director of Sales Operations will lead cross-functional initiatives focused on enhancing sales operations, and special projects aimed at driving organizational efficiency and sustainable revenue growth. This senior leadership role will serve as a key connector between executive leadership and operational teams, championing data-driven strategy, project execution, and continuous improvement across the business.
Essential Functions:
· Develop and execute long-term strategies to improve sales efficiency and optimize processes across departments to ensure alignment with company goals
· Identify financial gaps or inefficiencies in the sales process, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate cross-functionally to implement solutions from assessment through resolution
· Oversee high-impact projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met while collaborating across departments
· Analyze performance metrics and apply data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive improvements
· Champion innovation by identifying and implementing solutions that improve workflows and profitability, specifically to optimize sales processes, tools, and systems to reduce friction and enhance effectiveness
· Design and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
· Utilize advanced data analysis and financial modeling to generate insights and recommendations for leadership
Required Skills:
· Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments to drive strategic initiatives and resolve operational issues
· Proven experience developing and managing centralized business processes while resolving unstructured business issues independently and strategically
· Demonstrated ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous or undefined challenges
· Excellent project management and multitasking abilities, with a high level of accuracy and attention to deadlines
· Strong ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop accurate forecasts. Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and Excel
· Clear communicator with the ability to convey complex information to both executive leadership and operational teams.
Required Experience:
· Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, pharmaceutical background preferred
· Experience managing multiple projects across departments
· Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams
Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent work experience preferredCompany Description
