We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and skilled electronics assembly worker/solderer to join our manufacturing team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
Position: Electronic Soldering Technician
Location: Onsite at MARO Electronics' facility located in Bristol, PA
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Precisely solder through-hole (THT) electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to understand component placement and soldering requirements.
Set up and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons/stations, solder wire, flux, and microscopes.
Ensure proper solder joint formation and component orientation, using hand and/or automated soldering techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety and ESD protocols.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize assembly processes and meet production targets.
Document production activities, including time logs and material usage, in accordance with company procedures.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills: Previous soldering experience required.
Familiarity with soldering irons/stations, solder wire, flux, and microscopes.
Attention to Detail: Ability to perform fine-pitch soldering and handle small components with precision.
Physical Requirements: Good manual dexterity and visual acuity for close work. Ability to stand for extended periods.
Reliability: Punctual and able to consistently work onsite during scheduled hours.
Teamwork: Strong communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
Certification in IPC-A-610 or IPC J-STD-001.
Experience with automated soldering systems or selective solder equipment.
At least 1+ years of soldering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
