Job Description
AKA Custom Lids is seeking a motivated and results-driven B2B Account Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing client accounts, driving business development, staying on top of trends, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of relationship based sales and the ability to analyze fashion trends to identify opportunities for growth within your customers. You will be successful in this role by perfecting your cold calling, problem solving and being the design expert for your customers. You will play a crucial role in building relationships with clients and leading custom projects from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
Analyze fashion trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for business development.
Attend various tradeshows and conferences where we can show off the quality of our products and develop new business.
Efficiently manage account information, track sales activities and project status and show progress from business development calls and emails.
Conduct cold calling to prospective clients, presenting our services effectively to generate new business leads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, from production to marketing, in order to give customer realistic design capabilities.
Lead customer presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our products.
Provide ongoing support, ensuring they fully utilize our products and services when designing custom headwear and apparel.
Monitor account performance, and be able to have in depth conversations with management.
Requirements
Proven experience in account management or promotional sales within a relevant industry.
Strong sense of customer service and being able to relate with everyone.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, and handling tough conversations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and with coworkers.
Proficiency in entering project data for all team members to work off of.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with headwear and apparel, and being able to sell based on relevant experience.
