Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician with proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fire alarm systems, particularly with Edwards/EST platforms. The ideal candidate will hold NICET Level II or III certification and possess a strong understanding of NFPA 72, system troubleshooting, and local code compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, program, service, and inspect fire alarm systems, with a focus on Edwards/EST

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including wiring, device programming, and control panel diagnostics

Ensure systems are installed and maintained in accordance with NFPA 72, NEC, and local code requirements

Conduct routine maintenance, testing, and inspection of fire alarm systems

Document service and inspection reports accurately and in a timely manner

Communicate with clients, general contractors, and AHJs as needed

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests

Qualifications:

NICET Level II or III in Fire Alarm Systems required

Certification or factory training on Edwards/EST systems strongly preferred

3 years of experience in fire alarm installation, maintenance, or inspections

Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire alarm system compliance

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Strong problem-solving skills and customer-facing communication

Preferred Skills:

Experience with additional platforms (Simplex, Notifier, Siemens, etc.)

Familiarity with low-voltage systems, security, or access control

OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus
